Montan Brady 2010 Topps Gridiron Lineage

Technically Tom Brady is playing the New York Giants this weekend.  That match-up gets a yawn from me.  If Boston loses, great, it's always nice when that happens.  In the end though, it really just feels like another game.  The Super Bowl has come to feel more like a NASCAR event than an important football game, which is to say, I couldn't careless and am remotely aware that over-weight/under-educated people go wild for it.

The match-up that intrigues me is Brady vs. Montana.  A win ties Brady with Montana in the rings department and unquestionably puts him on the Rushmore of NFL QB's if he isn't there already.  It's likely Brady will have a few more cracks at catching Montana or even passing him, but nothing is guaranteed.  He already let one opportunity for ring #4 slip away, he can't afford to let another.

Prediction:  Boston wins big.  38-21
