I loved Rickey's swing. This card does a great job of capturing it. Kids today, including those who happen to play in the Major Leagues, should take note of Rickey's socks. Don't they look great? The inner-sock is called a sanitary hoe, the outer a stir-up. Wearing them makes you look like a professional, as oppossed to a slob. A slob is what you look like when you just let your pants hang down to your ankles. Respect the game, respect your team, and respect yourself, wear your uniform like a grown-up and not like the kid on your tee-ball team that didn't have a dad.
I like the 1990 Donruss design, not as much as the Topps, but it's still held up very well. I got a box of these for Christmas in 1989. It must have been one of the first ones off the presses because it was loaded with errors. The Juan reverse-neg, all the all-star cards said "major league performance" instead of "all-star game performance" and a few others. I really believe that Donruss did it on purpose after the frenzy over the Dale Murphy upper deck error from the previous year.

I totally agree with you on the uniforms and while I love the red fronts on those cards I hate the orange backs. Reminds me of the candy circus peanuts.
